The Gifted Education Resource Institute at Purdue University conducts research into the psychology of gifted and talented individuals and effective educational practices for high ability youth. Super Saturdays and GERI Summer Camps provide challenging learning opportunities and a healthy social environment to a diverse population of high ability children and teens.

Learn to dance online:
Although nothing compares to taking lessons from a real, live instructor, you can use these informative videos/descriptions to refresh your memory, and have a basic idea of how a certain move works before taking lessons.

Music:
Ballroom Dance Music- http://ballroomdancemusic.info/ : A huge resource of dance music (and popular music that can be played for dance) for all dances. There are samples for some of the music you can listen to online. This site will be useful to those who are interested in practicing at home, but don't have a clue as to where to get the music. (Competitive, social, or otherwise)
Dance Music- ftp://ftp.std.com/nonprofits/dance/music/ : An FTP site with text files regarding music for different dances. It's basically an archive of newsgroup postings on rec.arts.dance.

DanceScape- http://www.dancescape.com : A general dance site that has a schedule of events for competitive ballroom dancing, pictures and videos of competitions, a chat section, and personal ads. Caters mostly to the competitive dancer.
USA-DANCE/YCN- http://www.usadance.org : United States Amateur Ballroom Dance Association/ Youth College network. This is the governing body for the major competitions.
USADANCE Heartland Chapter- http://indyusadance.org/ : The chapter of USABDA that we belong to. Contains dance related information in Indianapolis
